Kings Park Accommodation has welcomed the news from the Council about its commitment to investing in the future of the local communities by providing an update on the progress of 60 capital works projects worth over $144 million undertaken by Council within the last four years across the region.

Last week the Council declared it has successfully completed 37 major infrastructure projects, all valued at over $500,000; and 2016 will see 23 projects either completed or progress into the early stages of construction.

Already the completion of these major projects has seen the delivery of much-needed waste, water, and road infrastructure across the Western Downs.

Over the past four years Council has completed major capital works projects such as the Chinchilla Aerodrome redevelopment, Dalby Regional Saleyards redevelopment, Condamine and Miles Waste Transfer Stations, and Miles Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants.

Mayor Ray Brown said Council is committed to providing first-class infrastructure for our residents, and the future growth and development of our region.

“Investing in the future of our communities and continuing to facilitate economic growth opportunities through sustainable development such as key waste, water, and road infrastructure will create significant benefits for our residents, businesses and industries, and enhance the liveability and prosperity of our region.”

Kings Park Accommodation is proud to be a member of this thriving community, and look forward to working with local staff, welcoming visiting work crews and watching the area flourish.
